| A New Home for Battlefront Content
Earlier this year we launched the new Battlefront Group website, a combined e-Commerce platform that allows you to browse the entire range of Flames Of War, World War III and GF9 ranges of products in one place.
Having a seamless browsing experience was one of the main reasons we created the site, but the other was the Flames Of War website that you know and love is around 20 years old and in need of an upgrade.

Exploring British, Indian and Australian Command Cards
As you might expect, the Pacific: British, Australian, and Indian pack has many of the same Command Cards as other nations like Softskin Transport, Lucky, etc. However, you will also find a great variety of cards for Warriors, Unit and Formation builds, as well as cards that enhance a particular part of your Force’s capabilities. You will find plenty of flavourful cards as well to give your force a feel all its own. As an example, there are several different build cards. The card pack includes cards for British, Australian, and Indian units.

Beginner Lists Using The Marine Rifle Company Army Deal
With the launch of the Mid War Pacific Army Deals, I thought I would look at how a new player, or someone on a budget, can get a US Marine force on the table that would be semi-competitive or at least hold its own. For the new player, it opens the door to playing Flames Of War without needing to buy, assemble or paint too much and get into playing the game quicker.

Exploring Japanese Command Cards
Command cards are probably my favourite part of Flames Of War Version 4. They bring so much variety and historical flavour to the game with a super small format that frees up a ton of space in the books. The Pacific is no different with a great selection of thematic options and we’re going to take a look at my top five Japanese Command Cards from it.

Operation Saltire II - Scottish Nationals Event Report
Operation Saltire II welcomed 28 players from Scotland, Wales, England and Europe to battle it out for the top spot in the Flames Of War Scottish Nationals. The venue was Knightly Gaming in Bathgate and by some miracle, the sky was clear and the sun shining all weekend.
Whilst some of the travelling players made a long weekend of their trip to visit historic Scottish sites, most chose to remain indoors, at the gaming table and maintained their pallid gamer complexions.

Japanese Tanks in The Pacific Japanese armour development lagged behind that of the major Allied powers throughout the Pacific War. Their tank design philosophy, influenced by the Sino-Japanese War and logistical constraints in Asia, prioritized light and medium tanks focused on infantry support rather than direct tank-on-tank engagements.

The US Army in The Pacific While the US Pacific campaign may be seen primarily as a fight involving mostly the US Marines and the US Navy in their island-hopping campaign, the US Army was also heavily involved in some of the very first battles between the United States and Japan, as well as some of the toughest campaigns of the PThe US Army in The Pacificacific. Without the logistics and supply expertise that the US Army brought with them, it would have been a much tougher fight, and their fighting contribution was also important when initial US Navy Forces were stretched thin.
