Battlefront: What is your favorite Flames Of War army to play?
Chris Jackson: Boat Weasels.
BF: Why?
CJ: People underestimate them, badly.
BF: What is your favorite Flames Of War time period?
CJ: Late-war, but I haven’t gotten to play Early-war yet so I reserve the right to change.
BF: Why?
CJ: Increased options and technology make things more difficult to anticipate.
BF: What is your favorite World War II battle or operation?
CJ: Torch.

BF: Why?
CJ: Watching the steep learning curve the Americans went through.
BF: What is your favorite part of the hobby? (Painting, playing, historical research, collecting, assembling, etc.)
CJ: Playing.
BF: Why do you attend tournaments?
CJ: Only chance I get to play anymore. Not a big gaming community in Leesville.
BF: Your tournament mantra?
CJ: Baby seals for breakfast…it never gets old.

BF: What is your favorite type of tournament? (Points, theme, time period, style, etc.)
CJ: 1750 point open.  If you restrict the time period or theater, it becomes easier to anticipate your opponent.
BF: What are some of the most competitive armies to play?
CJ:
Boat Weasels, SS infantry and Udarny.
BF: What is your favorite platoon type?
CJ: Veteran infantry.
BF: What are you general tactics that you use almost every game?
CJ: Make him react to me. Even if defending, I set the battlefield to determine where he should go and who he has to fight to get there.
BF: What army are you bringing to the Masters?
CJ: I just put my Romanian Puscasi in the mail to get home.  If they make it in time, they will be the choice, if not, probably German or American infantry.

BF: Why Romanians?
CJ: Because I saw some things in the list I thought would be fun to try and unexpected, and I think with this group, I will need every advantage I can squeeze out.
BF: What mission are you dreading the most?
CJ: Break-Out, I am 0-2 with that one.
BF: What mission do you excel at the most?
CJ: No Retreat.
BF: What point level do you like and dislike based on your army selection?
CJ: With the Romanians, I like them all, I have adequate anti-tank and anti-infantry at all levels. If I use the American list, 1250 points is kicking my butt. I had better defend, or I’m gonna get creamed.
BF: Is there a particular points and mission combo that you are really looking forward to seeing?
CJ: A 1000 point Free-For-All. I have a neat list.
BF: How do you think you will perform?
CJ: Pride goeth before a fall. Next question.
