Berlin: German
In January 1945 the German Ardennes offensive in the west failed to force the Allies to the negotiating table. The British and Americans are ready to cross into Germany. The newly-raised Panzerdivision ‘Clauswitz’ and troops from the schools and training battalions are thrown into the fight. Every fighting man is utilised in the defence of the Reich. In the east, the Germans traded ground for time, falling back into western Poland and east Prussia and establishing Festerplatz, or fortress cities. An eerie calm settled in for the first few weeks of the new year as both sides prepare.

Command Cards are entirely optional and can be added to your force in two ways. You can add them to your normal point cost, just as you would add a unit to your force, or you and your opponent can agree on a set amount of points that each may use just to add Command Cards to your lists.

Many Command Cards are hidden until they are used, so you’re never quite sure what your opponent’s battle plans are until they are revealed. While hidden, Command Cards do not affect their attached unit—a player must reveal them if they wish to gain the card's benefits. Some Command Cards must be revealed at the start of the game; these cards are used to build your army and have the keyword 'Build'.

Command Card Previews
As you might expect, the Berlin: German pack has many of the same Command Cards as other nations like Softskin Transport, Lucky, etc. However, you will also find a great variety of cards for Warriors, Unit and Formation builds, as well as cards that enhance a particular part of your Forces' capabilities. You will also find plenty of flavourful cards to give your force a feel all its own.  As an example, there are several different build cards. Some do simple things like 10.5cm AA Gun, which allows you to replace your Luftwaffe 8.8cm Heavy AA Platoon with a 10.5cm Heavy AA Platoon, hitting harder at a cost of +1 point.

This takes the 10.5cm Heavy AA Platoon from the previous example and mounts it on a flatcar. This is brought alongside the Railway Guns command card, which provides you with rules on how these flatcars can be deployed. Bring a length of railway terrain to your next battle and ambush your opponent with flatcar-mounted AA guns!

The Berlin: German command card pack gives you some unique Formation card options, including the 1st and 2nd Marine-Grenadier Divisions Kriegsmarine. Using the Marine Infantry card, this formation comprises Marine-Grenadier Assault and Rifle platoons, alongside integral weapons platoons and heavy weapons platoons such as 7.5cm Anti-Tank platoons. This lets you field a complete formation of Kriegsmarine infantry to support your force on the streets of Berlin!

A couple of the more interesting Unit cards include 'Porshe' Tiger II (Early) Tank and Stuka zu Fuss.

Both of these cards let you field more variation in your German force, representing the final desperation as the German Army through whatever it could at the attackers. The Porshe turret allows you to field slightly cheaper Tiger IIs, whilst the Stuka zu Fuss gives you a single-use, devastating bombardment from your Panzer Pioneer Platoon Sd Kfz 251s.

There are four new warriors you can field, of which the most well-known one here is Hans-Ulrich Rudel. Rudel returns in his Stuka to continue his impressive streak which consisted of targets from tanks to the Soviet battleship Marat.
The card allows your Aircraft Unit to arrive on the table on a roll of 3+, and allows the Unit Leader to re-roll all failed rolls To Hit each time he shoots with his 3.7cm gun.
