includes one Command Pioneer Rifle team, three Sapper Squads (two Pioneer Rifle teams per squad), one Small base & six Medium bases.

While the French army of the Napoleonic wars were well supported by Sapper units, during the 19th century these specialists gradually disappeared except in the Legion.

These long service veterans are the best of the best and retain many
of their ancestors’ unique symbols such as the long leather apron, an axe, and the large beard. Sapper units were not expected to live long and thus were granted such luxuries as the iconic large beard, which was otherwise strictly forbidden.

Modelling
The Command Team
On the small base, arrange the officer figure, one NCO figure and one rifleman figure.

The Pioneer Teams
Each sapper squad is made up of two pioneer teams. One base in each squad has an NCO figure, three riflemen figures and at least one pioneer figure.

Note: The blister contains enough pioneer figures for two pioneer team to have two pioneer figures and the remaining team just one.
