Lancia 3RO is a versatile truck that came in many variants; Anti aircraft, troop transport, supply transport, and repair workshop vehicles. Its design was simple and functional, and was appreciated by those that used and serviced it.
It could transport various heavy loads such as, light and medium tanks, heavy guns and ammunition supplies. The Germans also used the Lancia 3RO from 1943.
It was in production from 1938-1943.
It was employed in nearly all the theatres of the Second World War. Above all in North Africa, and was appreciated and well liked by its drivers. It remained in Italian service until 1965.

In Flames Of War
These guys are the heavy haulers of the
Italian army and are found towing heavy loads like the 88/56 and 90/53 Anti-aircraft guns. They can carry up to 6 passengers. They are Wheeled and Cumbersome which reduces their Road speed to 12”/30cm and cross-country speed to 6”/15cm.
