Brian Sullivan's Fighting First Army List
I am building an Engineer Combat Company (see bottom of page) using the Fighting First Command Cards. The idea behind this army is to make the most out of each unit by improving their individual capabilities and having them work in conjunction with each other.

What I like about the rifle platoons is that they are large platoons, with the best infantry anti-tank weapon available in the game, not to mention the Automatic Rifles rule! |

These 37mm guns will be great for defending objectives, ambushing, and area denial.

The M10 Tank Destroyers are going to put fear into any Tigers I come across, while making short work of medium and light tanks.

Who can play Americans without artillery? Time on Target, check, spotters in every infantry unit, check. In the worst case scenario they can also be pressed into service as tank killers.

The Armored Recon will allow me to expand my deployment area, and seize objectives before my opponent. After the start of the game they can also serve as ad hoc air defense platforms or chase down lightly armored enemy vehicles and artillery.
|
This army will have the ability to hold an objective, as well as put pressure on the enemy. Taking advantage of the cards to give my army increased survivability also increased their lethality. This game is about the economy of force, exchanging casualties in order to gain an advantage. Preventing your own casualties in this game is a force multiplier, and can exponentially improve your position on the battlefield.
