Bofors 40mm gun (8th Army)
(BR541)
The Swedish designed Bofors anti-aircraft gun was produced in vast quantities by a huge number of nations before, during and after WWII.
How to assembly your Bofors...
The first 40mm Bofors was produced in 1930 after the Swedish government approved the finance to put the 1928 design into production. The Bofors was exported and built under licence from 1932 onwards, and by 1938 18 different countries were using it.
The British were one of the main producers of the 40mm Bofors. They made 3 variations and also made multiple barrel versions for navel use.

The Bofors saw service in all theatres of WWII, from the harsh winters of Finland to the tropical heat of the Pacific.
The Bofors comes with 4 crew, ammo boxes and wheels for mounting the trail.
I think it’s a great weapon to have in your British force, excellent anti-air, great against infantry and an effective deterrent of light armoured vehicles.
