Battlefield in a Box – Defences Spotlight (BB104) The new Battlefield in a Box – Defences set provides you with all the necessary fortifications needed to hold off your opponent’s forces. Using wire, mines, trenches and obstacles you can create your own impenetrable fortress for your troops.

Use the trench sections to prepare multiple lines of trenches across your front line so that your men can fire on the enemy while protected. Then connect these lines with smaller communications trenches to allow your reserves to advance quickly and safely while under fire. Also make good use of your Gun Pits to protect your vulnerable guns from enemy fire.

Anti-tank barriers are perfect to stall tanks in vulnerable positions while your anti-tank guns pick them apart. Similarly, the barbed wire sections are a cheap and effective way to keep the enemy infantry from assaulting your own positions. Site your machine-guns over the wire so that you can inflict maximum damage on your opponent’s troops. Large minefields have been sown into the soil with both Tellermine 43 anti-tank mines and the pernicious S-Mine 35 antipersonnel mines, making the minefield sections deadly to both tanks and infantry! Use these sections to block off critical approaches or in front of you troops to protect them from assaults.
