In December 1944 SS-Kampfgruppe Peiper led the
spearhead through American lines during the Ardennes Offensive. With a
mixture of equipment including Panzer IVs, Panthers, Königstigers, as
well as elite SS Panzergrenadiers and Fallschirmjägers, they battered
their way through the American lines. Stymied at every turn by “those
damned engineers!” he never lost sight of the overall objective and
pushed forward until they could go no further.

SS-Obersturmbannführer Jochen Peiper in Flames Of War
Characteristics
SS-Obersturmbannführer Jochen Peiper is a Warrior Higher Command Tank Team rated Fearless Veteran. He may join an SS-Kampfgruppe Peiper company (page 10 of Devil's Charge) mounted in his own Panther G tank for +235 points.
Special Rules
To the Meuse!
Peiper’s battlegroup might have been small, but he used it with
precision and skill. He knew when to pull his troops together to
overcome American strongpoints and counterattacks and, when he could
afford to, split his forces to cover more ground and find suitable
crossings.
Once each turn, you may re-roll one die when rolling for Reserves.
In a mission using the Scattered Reserves special rule, once per turn
you may also re-roll one die rolled to determine where a platoon will
arrive from Scattered Reserve.
