The Battlefront booth

Adepticon 2012 Late War Nationals
This past weekend, the Westin Hotel in Lombard, Illinois, was invaded by over 1800 rabid wargamers hoping to enjoy three days of tournament games, hobby clinics, pick-up games, and of course visiting their favorite miniature manufacturer’s booth. Battlefront Miniatures was on hand and brought the full gamut of products to assist all of those unfortunate players who forgot their gaming accessories or needed some help building their Flames Of War armies.

The first FOW US Nationals of the 2011-2012 Tournament Circuit occurred at Adepticon and we had 52 players competing for the top spots. The Masters’ gaming tables that were presented last November were integrated into the Nationals scenery, heightening the overall presentation of the tournament.

Alongside the Late War Nationals was the Game Korps club out of Fort Wayne, Indiana, running smaller sized Flames Of War tournaments for Early, Mid, and Late War. The club also organized an all-day Kursk-themed battle featuring over 12’ of entrenched Russians followed by a huge armored engagement numbering around 200 tanks.

After six rounds of play over two days, the winners were determined and here are the awards and results:
