Flames Of War Logo Flames Of War Pricing

Hard news is never something that is easy to deliver, but the time has come for us to tackle this topic. On Monday 9 August 2010 we will be increasing the prices of the Flames Of War range.

Although time flies for all of us, it has been over two years since we made our commitment to keep pricing fixed and in truth it could not have been a more costly promise to make! I am not going to repeat the long list of global issues that have made all our lives harder these past two years, but I will say again that even with everything going on we kept our word and did not jump on the proverbial band wagon and raise prices as everybody else did, however we kept our long term goal in mind and focused on the future.

The price rise also allows us to tackle the ever widening gaps in currency around the world, bringing the cost of a tank into parity globally to help protect local markets. As part of this move it is time to acknowledge that the Australian and New Zealand currencies are not close anymore and the impact of having these two prices the same no longer makes sense. The direct result is that we will not be changing prices in Australia at all but will be creating a new price list for New Zealand.

We will continue to focus on supporting the hobby long term but the reality of the world has meant increases to all our costs over the past few years. It is not all bad news as there is no change to paint, the entire GF9 range or paper products, in fact we keep making those bigger and better for the same price.
