Road to the GT:
Mike’s Aufklarungsschwadron
For this year’s late-war GT, I’ll be bringing my Aufklarungs. I started this list ages ago by painting six Panzer II Luchs. In the move to New Zealand I forgot about them completely until I cracked open a box and saw them looking lonely along with some Panzer IVs that I had assembled but never got around to painting.
|
I settled on basing my force on the 4. Panzerdivision, so I could use my Panzer IIs. I have painted the infantry and one platoon of half-tracks. I modelled the platoon with a few extra Panzerfaust figures so that I can use them in later late-war games, although, due to point restrictions, they’ll have to use them as Panzerknackers!

I still need to finish the Heavy Platoon, its half-tracks as well as econd platoon’s half-tracks. Then I need to work on the HQ and objectives. I’m almost there, and I’m happy Im not being rushed through.
Now I just need to practice with it!
We’ll see you there on the battlefields of the NZGT.
