These hills represent the rocky outcrops often found in North Africa and southern Italy. Often the hard rock will be exposed after the softer rocks and soil have been eroded away.
In
Flames Of War
these would be difficult or very difficult going depending on the rockiness. Some of the taller rock faces you may like to count as impassable.
