25pdr gun, 8th Army (BR574) The 25pdr was the mainstay of British artillery forces in the desert. Despite its primary role as an artillery piece it quite often found itself in the anti-tank role when the little 2pdr couldn’t hold off the up-armoured Panzers. The 25pdr Mk 2 quickly entered service with the 8th Army and the rest of the British forces after the loss of most of the 25pdr Mk 1 (18/25pdr) during the evacuation of Dunkirk.

The 25pdr in Flames of War The OQF 25pdr is able to serve as both and artillery piece and an Anti-tank gun. As an artillery piece, the 25pdr has a range of 80"/200cm and has an Anti-tank rating of 4 and Firepower 5+. It also has the ability to fire Smoke Bombardments.
