Modelling the Tiger I at Osprey...

Comprising detailed step-by-steps of six projects by highly skilled modellers, this title covers every stage from assembly and detailing with aftermarket parts to painting.

The skill level of each build is rated as at least intermediate, and it has to be said that this guide will not be suitable on its own as a starting point for a novice modeller. However, everyone from the complete beginner to the seasoned veteran will find useful tips, as well as plenty of inspiration. David Parkerís jaw-dropping build of Tamiya's 1/16 kit, with Aberís detail set is particularly impressive.

While those expecting a stand-alone reference guide will be disappointed—the photographs and text focus on the models themselves, rather than the history—however a detailed bibliography is included, as well as a list of available model kits for those people who have been inspired to move up in scale from a Flames Of War Tiger to something a bit bigger.
