They were given Panzerfaust and Panzerschreck Anti-tank launchers and plenty of other heavy weapons support. In Flames Of War The Grenadier platoon is a hearty one.

Though they have been reduced in strength over the course of the war, they are very capable of holding their own with seven Rifle/MG teams and optional Panzerfaust anti-tank launchers.
