2014 European Grand Tournament Report
2014 European Grand Tournament Report
with Eduard Reed
Thirty eight players were on hand to challenge for the title of champion at this year’s Flames Of War Late-war European Grand Tournament. Over the course of the weekend nearly two hundred games were played featuring some of the finest painted armies ever seen as such an event.
This was my first Flames Of War event as a member of the Battlefront team and I am proud to say we have an excellent community and I am looking forward to seeing them all again at future events.
While this year’s European Grand Tournament was not up to our usual high standards, we’ve taken aboard the feedback with the goal of implementing it for next year’s tournament. Nevertheless we still achieved our goal; to celebrate Flames Of War at its highest level and have a good time while doing it. The keys elements for such an event are interesting army lists, lots of beautiful models, and plenty of very good players.
I’d like to thank all the players and congratulate the winners once again. Despite the hiccups, I believe that everybody have a good time.
See you again next year.
~ Eduard.
