Market Garden covers the Allied operations in
Holland from September to November 1944. This includes two major
operations, one to capture Arnhem, code-named Operation Market Garden,
the second to open a deep-water port in Antwerp by clearing the
heavily-defended Scheldt Estuary.

Your task as the commander of an armoured recce company is to secure the flanks of the main advance, check out side routes and exploit fractures in the German Line. The Cromwell IV tank brings together a combination of speed, reasonable armour,
and a dual-purpose gun to tackle both enemy infantry and tanks while the Challenger A30 boasts the tank-busting 17 pdr gun loaded with new APDS ammunition.

The loader's hatch and hull MG sprue includes a small flat round plate that looks similar to the hull MG but without a machine-gun mounted to it. This is used with the Centaur CS to plug the hull MG port and is NOT used for on any miniatures included in this particular box set. |
| Assembling the Cromwell IV |
Step 1. Begin assembly of the Cromwell IV with the tracks.

Step 2. Attach the front mudguard. |

| Step 3. Next, attach the rear mudguard. |

| Step 4. Complete the track assembly by repeating the process on the second track. |
Step 5. Next, its time to attach the tracks to the resin hull.
Note: Each track is also marked with a letter L or R to indicate orientation. |

Tip: When refering to
left or right-hand side in regards to a Flames Of War miniature, the
orientation is determined as if looking at the vehicle from the rear.

Step 6. Next, attach the hull MG to the front of the hull.

Adding A Tank Commander
|
Step 1. Attach the open commander's hatch to the top of the turret.
Note: Like the closed hatch, the open commander's hatch has a dimple that matches the recess in the turret to ensure correct alignment.

| Step 2. Once the open commander's hatch in place, attach the tank commander figure of your choosing to the turret. |

Adding Rare-Earth Magnets
|
Step 1. The magnet recess complete with magnet.

Step 2. Simply glue a rare
earth magent to the bottom of the turret and you have a safe and secure
way of attaching the turret to the hull. |

| Assembling the M10C 17 pdr SP |
| Step 1. Begin assembly of the M10C 17 pdr SP by attaching the tracks to the resin hull. |
Step 2. Next, attach the 17 pdr gun barrel into the gun mantlet on the front of the turret. |

Step 3. With the 17 pdr gn in place, its time to attach the turret counterweight to the rear of the turret.

Step 4. Next, attach the crew figures to the inside of the fighting compartment.

Step 5. Finally, attach the .50cal AA MG at the rear of the fighting compartment. There is a small recess in the turret counterweight intended for the .50cal AA MG. |
