Table-top hobby skills and a knowledge of wargaming are essential and will greatly help in the role.
No day is ever the same in Trade Sales and you will need to be able to converse with retailers in a multitude of ways; from ringing them direct on the phone, conversing over emails, using Skype, meeting at shows and events and finding new ways to interact.
As such, computer skills are a bonus for the role using Microsoft software, Google Applications and our own in-house order software. The ideal candidate needs to have the willingness to work on the phone to communicate with customers on a planned call schedule as well as an ad hoc basis; as honesty and building confidence & trust with their customers, will lead to success in the role to build our hobby in their communities.
Further there is the opportunity to attend shows and events as part of the Battlefront Team and you will be expected to be able to support all areas of the business where required.
As well as being able to speak multiple languages, the ideal candidate will preferably have:
- Related work experience in Trade Sales and/or Customer Service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to learn quickly and effectively as part of a team
- The drive to learn on the job and plan your day through call schedules
- A knowledge of business-related targets and KPI’s to achieve maximum profitability from your customers as well as build sales within the team
