Gebirgsjäger HMG Platoon
(GE834)
includes one Command SMG team, four HMGs with crew (MG34 or MG42 options), one Small base & four Medium bases.
Capable of firing up to 800 rounds a minute, the MG34 had a unique feature of being able to produce semi-automatic by pressing the upper segment of the trigger, while fully automatic fire was achieved by pressing the lower segment. Another important feature of the MG34 was the ability to quickly change barrels when necessary due to the overheating.

"The schwere (heavy) version of the reliable MG34 machinegun is a great addition to the firepower of your infantry platoons."
It could fire ammunition stored in either 50 or 75 round drums or via the more traditional belt feed system and could be used as either a Light Machine-gun fired off a bipod or as a Heavy Machine-gun fired from a tripod. The tripod also included sighting equipment which further aided indirect fire.

The HMG Teams
"These weapons will help keep the enemy’s heads’ down as your infantry storms the objective. Or place these weapons in defensive positions with clear lines of fire to dominate the battlefield and instill fear in the hearts of your enemy."
