Bersaglieri Platoon (IT722)
The Bersaglieri are Italy’s equivalent of Britain’s Rifle Brigade. They are superbly trained light infantrymen.
Although they have fewer trucks than they would like, a Compagnia Bersaglieri is the closest thing Italy has to motorised infantry—every heavy weapon has motorised transport.
Organised with ‘few men, many weapons’, they have the firepower to see off any attack and the skill to finish off the enemy with a counterattack.
In Flames Of War
Though the ITBX01 Compagnia Bersaglieri supplies all the troops you need for the core of a Bersaglieri company, the Bersaglieri can be found supporting a number of other types of Italian companies.
Compagnia Carri, Motociclisti, Fucilieri, and Paracadutisti can all have Bersaglieri Platoons as support choices.
As Elite troops Bersaglieri are an excellent support choice, they are usually rated Confident Veteran, though they can be Confident Trained or Fearless Veteran.
