Libyan Fucilieri Platoon (IT752)
includes one Company Command Rifle team, one 2iC Command Rifle team, one Solothurn Anti-tank rifle team, one Command team, two Fucilieri Squads, four Small bases & six Medium bases.
In 1940 the bulk of the Italian infantry in Libya and on the Egyptian frontier was made up of colonial troops recruited from the native population of Libya.

These native Libyans hadn’t experienced truly modern war before, were hindered by logistics problems, and were commanded by officers whose ideas hadn’t changed since World War I. The Libyans had some combat experience, but most of this came from fighting poorly armed tribal insurgents.

Modelling
The Company Command Team
On the small base, arrange two officer figures and one
rifleman figure to taste.

The 2iC Command Team
On another small base, arrange the last officer figure, one SMG figure and one
rifleman figure.
Tip: When modelling infantry stand, try to pick figure poses that match.

The Solothurn Anti-tank Rifle Team
On a medium base model the Solothurn gunner and loader figure with one riflemen figure.
Note: In this example Mark has used a prone riflemen figure to match the other figures on the base.

Modelling the Libyan Fucilieri Platoon
The Command Team
On the last small base, arrange one NCO figures and two Riflemen figures to form the HQ section of the Libyan Fucilieri platoon.

The Fucilieri Squads
Each Fucilieri squad is made up of three teams. These teams are made up in three different way. Each type of team is modelled on a medium base.
The first type of team contains five riflemen figures.

The last type of team contains four riflemen figures and a NCO figure.
Each Fucilieri squad contains one of each of these teams.
