Assembling the Panzer IV/70 Tank How to assemble your Panzer IV/70 Tanks. Check out the German Tank-hunter Kampfgruppe spotlight here...

Step 1. Begin assembly of the Panzer IV/70 by attaching the left and right side tracks to the lower hull. Note that there are notches to make sure the correct fit.		Below: The tracks on the hull.

Step 2. Attach the upper hull plate the lower hull assembly.	Step 3. Attach the rear side armour to the upper hull in the locations shown below.

Below: The side rear armour plates in place on the hull.	Step 4.  Attach the left side skirt to the main hull.

Step 5. Attach the right side skirt. to the main hull.	Below: The left and right side skirts.	Step 6. Next, glue the spare track wheels to the top of the hull.

Step 7. Attach the top hatch to the main.	Step 8 (optional). Attach the barrel lock to the main hull below the gun mantlet slot if you are building a Panzver IV/70.	Step 9. Glue the mantlet to the main hull in the slot shown below.

Below: The mantlet and barrel lock in place on the model.	Step 10. Glue the rear armour plate on the main hull.

Step 11. Now you can choose which variation you want to build. If you are building the Jagdpanzer IV then attach the bottom exhaust. The top exhaust is used for the Panzer IV.

Step 12. Attach your choice of gun barrel to the mantlet. The shorter of the two is for the Jagpanzer IV	Below: The completed Panzer IV/70.
