German Panzer Kampfgruppe (GEAB18)
Like a phoenix ascendant, Germany has risen once again from the false defeat contrived by our traitorous leaders in the First World War. The Treaty of Versailles was foisted upon an undefeated army and a nation willing to do anything to achieve victory. We must all be willing to do anything, anything to have the Fatherland rule the world!

The Panzer IV is an old design now, but still a match for any Allied tank with its good armour and excellent 7.5cm KwK40 gun. Panzer commanders must utilise cover and concealment at all times to keep their edge in battle. Manoeuvre and fire helps them to outwit the enemy’s best-laid plans.

The Tiger I E heavy tank was the most feared German tank of the war—its reputation for death and destruction proven in every attack. To kill a Tiger I E heavy tank in combat would be a feat of valour worthy of a medal. Tiger heavy tanks were built to destroy Soviet tanks. Armed with a powerful 8.8cm main gun and protected by thick armour all around, the Tiger was an unstoppable force on the battlefield.

Every well-equipped German infantry division had a battalion of  assault guns. These follow the grenadiers’ assaults, taking out stubborn enemy resistance with their 7.5cm main guns. The assault gun battalions of the grenadier and panzergrenadier divisions were called upon to support defensive and offensive actions in Italy, France and on the Eastern Front. Always in action, they always seemed to show up whenever the Allies threatened to make a breakthrough.

The armoured Panzergrenadier Company are the elite of the mechanised infantry. Instead of trucks they are equipped with armoured Sd Kfz 251 half-tracks giving them the mobility and armour to accompany the tanks into the fighting. The Sd Kfz 251 half-track served its passengers admirably during Germany's early blitzkrieg campaigns in 1941. Their armour allows them to support the tanks with infantry assault power.

The motorised panzergrenadier battalions had much more firepower than the rifle battalions of the infantry divisions, allowing them to launch attacks and counterattacks without the need to wait for outside support. When they had panzers and artillery attached, they were difficult to stop without a layered defence in depth.

With the whole 3rd FlaK Corps in Normandy, there were well over 100 heavy 8.8cm anti-aircraft guns in Normandy. Mostly they left the anti-tank role to the long 8.8cm tank-hunters, while they dealt with the Allied air forces, but when needed, they were capable of devastating tank attacks.

The six-barrelled 15cm Nebelwerfer rocket launcher terrified Allied soldiers, delivering six screaming rockets per launcher and scattering rockets each packed with 31.8 kg (70 lb) of high-explosives across a wide area.
