Ch'ir Weapons Platoon (AIS723) includes one Command SMG team, one MG Squad containing two FN MAG LMG teams, one Mortar Squad containing two M2 60mm Mortar teams, one Small three-hole base, four Medium four-hole bases, & two Base plug sprues. The infantry companies relied on their own firepower to deal with positions holding up the main advance.

Assembling The Command SMG Team To assemble the Command SMG team, simply arrange the Officer figure, the Rifleman figure and the Radio Operator figure on the Small three-hole bases provided in the blister pack. Left: An example of an assembled Command Rifle team. |

Assembling The Weapon Squads |
The Ch'ir Weapons Platoon contains a Command SMG team (which we've already covered), one Mortar Squad containing two M2 60mm mortar teams, and one MG Squad containing two FN MAG LMG teams. |
Assembling The Mortar Squads |
One of the mortar teams in the mortar squad needs to contain the two-man mortar crew consisting of the kneeling gunner and loader figures as well as the M2 60mm mortar itself along with one of the NCO figures (we suggest the kneeling NCO as seen above). The other mortar team are made up of the same two-man mortar crew, the M2 60mm mortar and one Riflemen figure. Model the mortar teams on the Medium four-hole bases provided in the blister pack. Tip: Use the base plugs to fill the leftover figure hole on the base as each mortar team consists of only a three figures. |

Assembling The Machine-gun Squad One of the LMG teams in the machine-gun squad needs to contain one prone LMG gunner figure (an example of this figure can be seen to the left), one Rifleman figure and one NCO figure (as well as the M2 60mm mortar itself along with one of the NCO figures (we suggest the prone NCO as seen above). The other LMG team is made up of one prone LMG gunner and two Riflemen figures. Model the LMG teams on the Medium four-hole bases provided in the blister pack. Tip: Use the base plugs to fill the leftover figure hole on the base as each LMG team consists of only a three figures.
