M4 Sherman DD Swimming (BR135)

One of the more unusual weapons landing on D-Day is the Duplex Drive or DD tank (nicknamed the ‘Donald Duck’ tank in the US Army). This is a Sherman tank fitted with a collapsible canvas screen around the top hull and propellers to allow it to swim.

We have already released the Sherman DD Tank as BR134 for ground operations, but we know many of you would like to make your gaming experience complete by representing your Sherman DD tanks swimming as they arrive.

The new BR135 model is a one piece resin casting of the tank with its canvas up in the swimming position.
