We've updated the Special Order range to now include the French 155mm C mle 1917 S with optional 105mm L mle 1913 S gun option, the German 8.8cm PaK43 on the Cruciform Mount and the 12cm sGW43 mortar.

155mm C mle 1917 S Howitzer (FRO507)
includes one 155mm C mle 1917 S howitzer with 105mm L mle 1913 S gun option, two spoked wheels, two solid rubber wheels & one Large base.

French divisions usually mixed a light artillery regiment with the 75mm mle 1897 with a smaller regiment of heavier 105mm or 155mm howitzers.

Their central fire control enabled them to combine the fire of both elements to produce devastating combined bombardments.

Assembling the 155mm C mle 1917 S Howitzer & 105mm L mle 1913 S Option
Simply follow the instructions shown on the left to assemble the 155mm C mle 1917 S howitzer. To model the 105mm L mle 1913 replace the 155mm barrel with the 105mm barrel.

Note: If you are fielding either the 155mm or 105mm guns as horse-drawn artillery model the gun with the spoked wheels. If you decide to field them as motorised artillery model the guns with the solid rubber wheels.

Description of Components

Assembling the 8.8cm PaK43
Step 1. Begin by attaching the two short gun base legs to the sides of the long gun base leg.
Step 2. Next, on one end of the long gun base leg, attach the gun travel lock.

Step 3. Attach the gunner to the side of the gun mount.
Step 4. Then, add the 8.8cm gun barrel to the gun mount. Step 5. Attach the gun shield extension to the gun shield.

Step 6. Followed by the gun shield face plate.
Step 7. Next, slide the gun shield over the gun barrel and attach it to the gun mount.
Step 8. With the gun shield in place, the 8.8cm PaK43 on the Cruciform Mount is ready for painting.

12cm sGW43 Mortar (GSO521)

12cm sGW43 Mortar (GSO521)
includes one 12cm sGW43 mortar, one transport axle & one Large Base.

During Operation Barbarossa in 1941 the Germans encountered the large Soviet 120-PM-38 12cm mortars. So impressed by this weapon that they immediately set about making their own version.

Description of Components
a. 1x Mortar bipod.
b. 2x Transport axle wheels.
c.
1x Transport axle.
d. 1x sGW43 mortar tube.
e. 1x Large base.

Assembling the 12 sGW43 Mortar
Step 1. Attach to bipod to the mortar tube. Step 2. Next, attach the axle wheels to the transport axle. Step 3. With the mortar and axle fully assembled, the 12cm sGW43 and the transport axle are ready for painting.
