After invading the Soviet Union, the Germans were keen to make use of the spoils of war left behind by the Red Army. Thousands of Soviet tanks littered the battlefield during the summer of 1941 and the Germans were keen to salvage whatever they could; however, many of these tanks proved beyond repair.

The Soviets had made use of tank turret emplacements on the Mototov and Stalin lines and as the tide of war begun to turn against the Germans, they started to use these spoils or war against their former owners. As early as 1942 a timber construction designed to mount the T-34 turret begun to appear in German manual of field fortifications.

c. 1x Gun mantlet.
d. 1x 7.62cm KwK34(r) gun.
e. 1x Air vent pipe.
f. 1x Resin T-34 obr 1941 turret.
Assembling the T-34/76 Turret Bunker
Step 1. Add the hatch to the turret. Step 2. Attach the gun mantlet. Step 3. Attach to the gun barrel.

Step 4. Attach the air vent pipe to the resin turret base. Step 5. With the turret in place the T-34/76 turret bunker is now fully assembled and ready to be painted.
