303. Infanteriedivision Döberitz  was created on 31 January 1945 as a Alarmeinheit (Alarm unit) at Truppenübungsplatz Döberitz (Military Training Ground Döberitz) from troops form Wehrkreis III (Military District 3) using the staff of Division zbV 611. The formation of the division was completed by 2 February 1945.

In March 1945 the division was part of the defence of the Oder River near Küstrin as part of CI Korps of the Ninth Army (Army Group Weichsel). During April the division continued to be deploy at Küstrin, now part of the XI. SS-Panzerkorps.

By 30 April it was trapped in the Halbe Pocket with the rest of the Ninth Army as part of V. SS-Gebirgskorps. It was destroyed during the destruction of the Halbe Pocket in May 1945.
