25mm SA-34 Hotchkiss gun (FR501)
 |
25mm SA-34 Hotchkiss gun (FR501)
with one Command Rifle team, three 25mm SA-34 guns with crew, one Small base & three Medium bases.
The 25mm anti-tank gun may not be modern enough to cope with the latest German Panzers, but for the Vichy forces in Syria, it is more than enough to cope with Allied light armoured vehicles.

The Free French forces still use the same gun; each battalion contained a platoon of four attached from division.
The 25mm SA-34 anti-tank gun is small, and that is one of its
greatest advantages. You should be able to easily conceal the gun in a
small hedge or among some boulders and wait for your prey.

| "The 25mm SA-34 gun has a Gun
shield which means that even if you fail a Gun save, your opponent must
make a Firepower test to destroy that team. But remember, Gun shields
only provide Bulletproof cover from shots fired from in front of the
gun." |
| "The 25mm SA-35 gun is rated as a
Light gun, this give it 4”/10cm of movement in all terrain so be sure to deploy these guns in
positions with excellent fields of fire. You don’t want to have to move too far
in order to shoot at the enemy." |
"The figures included with the 25mm SA-34 Hotchkiss guns can be used to represent French forces during the campaign in
France (i.e. Blitzkrieg) or to represent a French force in Burning
Empires. You can even mix and match in the Greatcoat
figures to add a flavour to your infantry bases."
