Lorraine 38L Armoured Carrier (FR201) with two one-piece resin Lorraine 38L Armoured Carriers, four AA MG figures & four sets of passenger figures. A peleton de châsseurs portés (light mechanised cavalry platoon) is composed of well-trained, well-equipped and well-armed troops with twice the number of light machine-guns as normal infantry. "The Lorraine 38L is only lightly armoured (Front 1; Side 0; Top 0); while this provides the passengers and crew with a basic level of protection for small arms fire, the Lorraine 38L can't survive an encounter with tanks or anti-tank guns."

Based on a supply carrier, the Lorraine 37L Tracteur de Ravitaillement, it can carry up to ten men—four men in an armoured cargo bay and six more in an armoured trailer. This made the French Army the only combatant during the Battle for France fielding battalions mounted in fully-tracked armoured personnel carriers, and the only country with whole battalions of infantry in armoured personnel carriers in each of their armoured divisions at the start of the war.
