Question: How do players get the free rulebooks if they have no friendly local game store (or FLGS)?

Answer: This isn’t our first rodeo; we have been giving away free rulebooks with new editions for years and this is no different. We really want you to go to your local store because we have a massive launch plan with in-store events and gaming. However, if you don’t have a local gaming store you will be able to get in touch with us to have your copy sent out. Specific information on this process is coming in February 2017.

3rd Edition Rulebooks

Question: Which rulebooks qualify for the offer?

Answer: Any 3rd Edition rulebook – either the large hardback version or the small A5-sized softback. There is a limit of one per customer.

Question: I bought my copy of the rules via Flames Of War Digital, can I get a copy of the new rules?

Answer: Absolutely. Both the Flames Of War, 1939-41 and 1944-45 rulebook and Flames Of War, Special Rules and Warriors, 1939-41 and 1944-45 will both be available to download for free in the Digital app on the same weekend that we give away the paper versions.

Question: How many new rulebooks are there?

Answer: The Flames Of War, 1939-41 and 1944-45 rulebook and Flames Of War, Special Rules and Warriors, 1939-41 and 1944-45 cover everything you need to keep playing Late or Early-war using all of you existing Intelligence handbooks.

The Flames Of War, 1942-43 rulebook is for the return to the desert and Mid-war.

Question: Which ones are we getting for free, again?

Answer: The Flames Of War, 1939-41 and 1944-45 rulebook and Flames Of War, Special Rules and Warriors, 1939-41 and 1944-45.

Right: covers of the two free rulebooks.

EW/LW V4 Rulebook

EW/LW V4 Special Rules and Warriors

Question: What's the first thing I should do once I get my free rulebooks?

Answer: Give them a go; play a few games and have fun.
P.S. - There will be plenty of time to answer all your questions more fully before the new books are out in March. One thing we can say is that we are gamers too – like you, we would much rather be playing than rebasing miniatures!
