FlamesCon 2014 Results held 18 - 19 October 2014 at Mt. Eden War Memorial Hall, Balmoral, Auckland. This year’s edition of FlamesCon held last weekend featured four exciting Flames Of War events; a one-day Early, Mid and Late-war tournament in addition to the traditional two-day Late-war event. Along with all the Flames Of War action and the ever popular Iron Painter competition, the After Hours events gave players a chance to relax at the end of the day and a chance to partake in some open gaming and experience other periods such as Arab-Israeli, Vietnam or even take to the skies with Phil’s World War Two aerial combat game Flames In The Sky.

FlamesCon also featured a DUST Battlefield tournament and the GF9 Cup for the first time. Allowing players to battle it out on the battlefields of 1946 or compete in a battle of skill and cunning for dominate of the arena in Spartacus: A Game Of Blood and Treachery or throw-down with the latest GF9 offering, Sons Of Anarchy.
