AdeptiCon 2011
This weekend the US Battlefront team are heading off to AdeptiCon for one of the biggest weekends of gaming in the world! Over the weekend players not only will be taking part in the Mid War Nationals, but they will also have a chance to catch up with some of the Battlefront team and probe them for information about whats going on with Flames Of War this year.
A couple of years ago James created a unique diorama featuring a German officer driving the streets in his luxurious staff car which was given to all players during that tournament season. This was so well received by the Flames of War community that we wanted to do it again. After pulling together a massive list of suggestions from all the Battlefront offices we ended up with renowned adventurer Illinois Ford on the hunt for the the Chest Of Mystery. Not only do you get a scenic objective featuring a group of dastardly DAK soldiers making off with the Chest (not to mention Illinois' love interest), but you also getting the man himself with some sort of prototype Panzerfaust ready to stop the Germans and rescue the girl!

Not wanting convention go-ers of all types to miss out on the fun, the Battlefront team have also created a truly fantastic, one-of-a-kind fantasy model which will be given to first 1000 pre-registered attendees who have purchased a Weekend Badge! This Orc King has been sculpted by none other than the talented and former AdeptiCon special guest, Gary Morley.

Painted by Dave Taylor
