Boot Camp at Jolt Games

Boot Camp at Jolt Games with Ken Snell The Canberra Group has found six new mates during our Boot Camp, played on Sunday 6 September at Jolt Games in Canberra.

We paired the new players up with old hands and played two games – Free For All, and Hasty Retreat. We ran all three eras and a broad range of armies that included German Panzergrenadiers and British Divisional Cavalry in Early War, Australian Infantry and German Pioneers in Mid War, and Soviet, Germans and British armies in Late War. Judging by the mirth around the tables, there were plenty of 1’s and 6’s being thrown in equal measure.

We appreciate the support of Luis Lopez, owner of Jolt Games in hosting this event and we look forward to many more events at Jolt Games in the future. I would also like to thank Paul from Aetherworks for producing our ‘limited edition’ Boot Camp objective markers presented to our newest group members.
