Lone Star Historical Miniatures
Early War Tournament, May 30 2015
with Ian Strauss

The Early War Flames of War tournament was a resounding success. We had 18 players participate along, with two officiating, and another 10+ stopped by to take a look.

There were 12 wonderfully “decorated” tables and some great competition and beautifully painted armies.

Mark Bayne won best general, Jacob Mayer won 2nd general and Charlie Torok won best table.

Mark Bayne won best painted army, and Jacob Mayer won best sportsman.

Clay Longino won worst dice.

I am proud of all who attended, all excellent sportsmen and players. I had a fine time and I believe all the players did too.

Special thanks to Mark Leroux for assisting, to Tom McBrayer for arriving earliest and also helping with the tables, to Dragon's lair for the venue, and to Mark 4 Miniatures for providing the prizes taken by 2nd general Jacob Mayer.
