AdeptiCon 2014 Report

AdeptiCon 2014: Winner & Results AdeptiCon 2014 Report
with David Griffin

Forty nine players descended upon Adepticon 2014 in Chicago to battle it out at the Late-war Nationals in early April.  This year the convention was gracious enough to give us our own room; this worked out very well since the players did not have to jostle for position and had a fairly secure area to leave bags and such. I look forward to working with everyone to fill the room next year!
We had people from both coasts, both old veterans and new faces which made this a very exciting event. I had many people coming up and saying that some of the games could have gone either way if not for the outcome of a single die roll. Even with some of the most decisive defeats were strongly contest affairs. I’d like to thank Tony Davis for coming to help out on the second day in case we still had an odd number of players.

I would like to thank the vast majority of players who voiced their enjoyment of the tournament despite the mathematics snafu.  It is always pleasing to see you all and sharing in our hobby despite any difficulties that may occur. I look forward to seeing everyone again at the other Nationals being held around the country this year!

~ David.
