Flames Of War at the IPMS Show: 21 – 22 September 2013 in Auckland, New Zealand. with Andrew Haught
During the weekend of the 21 – 22 September 2013 I had the pleasure of volunteering my time and expertise promoting Flames Of War at the Battlefront booth at the IPMS Model. Left: Chris mans the Battlefront booth at the IPMS show.
These kinds of events are fun to attend as a gamer; I relished the eye candy and took plenty of notes in an attempt to increase my painting scores when competing at Flames Of War tournaments. It was a great event to attend in terms of promoting FlamesCon being held in October; exposing a new audience to the world of Flames Of War that had never seen or heard of historical wargaming. Learn more about FlamesCon 2013 here… I enjoyed the array of models and was surprised to see the shear amount models on display; everything from planes to tanks and everything in between. Where most model shows I have attended in the United States tend to favour aircraft, it was a nice to see such a wide selection of different kits on display. All in all a very fun event to attend. ~ Andrew. Right: Chris demonstrating Flames Of War using Open Fire!
