Parachute Crew Special Orders
Few units represented the dash and elan of the British Army better than the famous 'Red Devils' of the Parachute Regiment.

With these two new Special Order codes, you can make the most of the new Digital Exclusive airborne intelligence briefings from Nachtjäger (Digital).

 Parachute Recce Patrol (BSO154)

The Airborne Recce Platoon is available in three Nachtjäger (Digital) briefings:

  • Parachute Company
  • Airlanding Company
  • Airborne Armoured Recce Squadron

The Dingos and Universal Carriers of your Airborne Recce Platoon can have the appropriate Para crew using Parachute Recon Patrol Special Order pack.

Parachute Tank Riders (BSO155)

The Guards tanks and paratroopers also had an element of armoured cars to screen their advance. These included the trusty Humber armoured cars and light reconnaissance cars as well as venerable universal carriers.  The squadrons’ airborne recce platoons provided the division with its reconnaissance element. Reorganised with universal carriers and Dingo scout cars, the platoon could easily outmanoeuvre the enemy and collect information.

Parachute Tank Riders (BSO155)

The 6th Armoured Brigade made exceptional time on its advances into Germany. This was due, in large part, to the close cooperation with the infantry they were assigned. British riflemen and paratroopers and US airborne platoons made a excellent team with the hard-fighting Guardsmen.
