Chess Anyone?
Jon Emery recently created two unique Chess sets using various
Flames Of War
miniatures; one themed on North Africa and the other, Western Europe. He was then kind enough to donate both sets to the
United Service Organizations
(or USO, a non-profit organisation that provides programs, services and live entertainment to American troops and their families), who subsequently put up for auction.
Featuring Chess boards with matching German period maps of North Africa and Europe, the sets raised nearly $3000 for the USO of North Carolina. Well done Jon!
Below are some images of the competed Chess sets.
