Kleinpanzer Wanze (x3) (GE117)
Includes three resin Kleinpanzer Wanze (Bedbug) models, three metal Panzerschreck rocket launcher assemblies and three metal drivers.

In early 1945 some Sd Kfz 301 Borgward B IV demolition carriers were rebuilt as tank destroyers. They were armed with six Panzerschreck rocket launcher tubes in a pod on a swivel mount.

Berlin: German
In January 1945 the German Ardennes offensive in the west failed to force the Allies to the negotiating table. The British and Americans are ready to cross into Germany. The newly-raised Panzerdivision ‘Clauswitz’ and troops from the schools and training battalions are thrown into the fight. Every fighting man is utilised in the defence of the Reich. In the east, the Germans traded ground for time, falling back into western Poland and east Prussia and establishing Festerplatz, or fortress cities. An eerie calm settled in for the first few weeks of the new year as both sides prepare.

The Kleinpanzer Wanze ('Small-tank Bedbug') tank-hunters were designed for street fighting, where they could quickly move from cover to fire their rockets, before slipping back behind cover to reload.

Assembling the Kleinpanzer Wanze

Kleinpanzer Wanzer (GE117) With its one-part resin hull, the little Bedbug is wonderfully easy to assemble. It's just a matter of gluing the driver into his compartment (consider leaving this step until after you have painted the vehicle and the driver)...
...and then gluing the multiple Panzerschreck mount in place. Note the small pin, which fits into the hole to help create a secure bond. Kleinpanzer Wanzer (GE117)

It's hard to imagine how it could be much easier! Happy modelling.
