Destined to become one of the best artillery fielded by Allied force during World War Two, the M1 90mm gun was fitted with a traditional Spider design with a detachable platform and a single-axle dual-wheeled bogie. The M1 90mm proved to be the equivalent to the German 8.8cm FlaK36 and the British QQF 3.7” AA gun.
Variants of the 90mm gun were later developed for use in an Anti-tank role and were fitted to the likes of the M36 Jackson and the M26 Pershing.

In Flames Of War

The M1 90mm gun by default has a ROF 2 but like the German FlaK36 can have extra loading crew added to increase its ROF to 3 for +10 points per gun. With an impressive Anti-tank rating of 13 and 3+ Firepower these guns pose a threat to both aircraft and heavy tanks alike.
