Nachtjäger Product Preview The British Army is at the Rhine, ready to cross into Germany. Opposing them are the resolute troops of the German Kriegsmarine (navy personnel) and the newlyraised Panzerdivision ‘Clauswitz’. When the hammer falls in late March 1945, fierce night battles erupt all along the front. Small gaps are created through which fly new better armoured and upgunned Comet tanks, the pinnacle in British cruiser tank design. Comet Platoon (BBX30) includes five all-plastic Comet tanks.

The peak of evolution for British armour, the Comet combines the speed of a light tank (16”/40cm) with improved armour (FA 7) and an AT 14 Semi-indirect fire gun.

Rifle Company (BBX28) includes six all-plastic British Infantry sprues.

A British Rifle Company is built around a core of three Rifle Platoons. Nine stands strong they are stubborn in defence and resilient on attack. Add Ram Kangaroo or Water Buffalo armoured personal carriers if you want to play an attacking style of game.

M5 Half-track Transport Platoon (BBX29) includes four plastic M5 Half-track sprues, four sets of M5 Half-track crew, & one Half-track decal sheet.

Motor platoons are small, but well equipped to fight armour or infantry and mounted in reliable US-supplied M5 halftracks, to keep up with the fast moving Comets.

Sd Kfz 251/20 D (Uhu) (GBX82) includes two plastic Sd Kfz 251 half-track sprues, two plastic crew sprues, & two Infra-red Searchlight tokens.

Want to see the enemy before they see you? The Uhu shines a massive infra-red searchlight on enemy teams, letting anyone with IR gear see them at up to 24”/60cm range.

Panther / Jagdpanther Platoon (GBX84) includes five all-plastic Panther / Jagdpanther sprues, five all-plastic Panther / Jagdpanther Accessory sprues, five Tank Commanders, & one German Decal sheet.

The Panther remains the best all round tank in Flames Of War, Front Armour 10 gives you a chance of stopping most enemy guns, AT 14 can easily penetrate most enemy tanks, and moving 12”/30cm per turn you can quickly move to where you need to be.

The Panzergrenadiers are the elite infantry of the Wehrmacht, and are some of the best trained and equipped soldiers of World War II. Although frequently outnumbered the Panzergrenadiers have the mobility and protection of their armoured Sd Kfz 251 half-tracks, and the fire power of two MG42 machine-guns in every squad, to prevail over any enemy.

Panzersturm Platoon (GE848) includes one Command Panzerfaust Assault Rifle team & three Assault Squads.

The panzers were not the only troops to be issued infra-red equipment. An infra-red scope had also been developed for use with the StG 44 assault rifle. Small numbers of StG 44 assault rifles were fitted with the ZG 1229 Vampir (or Vampire) infrared night-vision device.
